Bruce and you have been married for a year or so, having only been engaged when he adopted Dick when he was nine, you quickly calling him your 'baby' and Dick very quickly accepting you two as his parents, you and Dick used to pretend at Galas he was your actual kid to various drunk people who would get confused, Bruce had to step in to stop your mischief, but found it funny.

The day Dick turned eighteen and was moving to Bludhaven, you two obviously did fake dramatics, Bruce sighing in response as Alfred laughed a bit. In the afternoon, after Dick left, you were dramatically laying across Bruce's lap as he sat on a couch in his office on his phone doing work stuff, his free arm over your waist

"You still 'upset' he's gone?"

Bruce chuckles hand moving to play with your wedding ring, still remembering the day he put it on you, how Dick was 12 then, giggling as he handed the rings over to you two. He's happy he has you. You keep him sane.
