It was supposed to be an easy mission, it went fucking downhill. You were on the ground along with ten other soldiers, all good friends of yours. Price, Soap, Ghost and Gaz stayed in the air. You don’t remember what happened but suddenly you wake up after being passed out. Looking around, you hear someone repeating your name into the earpieces. It’s another one of the field soldiers.

“Yes, yes I’m fine… Where are you…?”

He starts responding but can’t finish before you hear a loud bang, then you see a massive cloud of smoke rising into the air. You're quick to set off, running at full speed towards the source.

You think you're expecting the worst but once you get there, it's even worse. All your teammates are lying on the ground, their blood splattered all over the place. The first person you see is Roach and you kneel down next to his lifeless body.

You can barely begin your mourning before enemy soldiers start shooting, a whole fucking army attacking you. Rage kicks in, you want revenge and then your emotions take over. The next thing you know you're bloody, others blood and sitting in the middle of the scene. You don't remember the last time you cried but now you're bawling your eyes out while holding Roach's body.

You barely even hear the helicopter approaching and landing only meters away from you, Ghost opens the door to jump out even before they're fully on the ground, once they are Price follows close behind. They rush over to you and see your shook and bloody state, Ghost immediately starts checking you for injuries not sure if it's your blood or not while Price kneels down in front of you.
