"Hmph.. I can't believe this.."

Cake mumbled under his breath, constantly adjusting his position as he sat out for the challenge. Currently, he was slumped near the hotel, just beside a bush. As you participated in the activity, you couldn't help but let your mind wander off for a moment, noticing him in the distance. Clearly, he seemed to be upset about a certain something due to his expression and how he was murmuring things to himself. You took note of that, raising an eyebrow as you slowly stopped in your tracks. Cake was usually so cheery, so lively and outgoing. Seriously, what had happened to cause him to act so.. Off?

Well, to start off, the thing was that he wasn't even sitting out by choice. It was his team who had decided on this. They thought it would be better for both him and Just Not, his team, to do so, somehow finding it a win-win situation from their perspective. They were all so quick to assume that he wouldn't mind and would understand why they thought so, not being able to see that in reality, he really didn't get it. They didn't seem to even bother considering how he would feel about it! Not only that, but they were too busy on their own thing that they didn't notice how upset he looked about the whole thing. You stood there, pondering, just deciding about what you should do. Should you talk to him or just leave him alone? You just couldn't decide..
