You stood outside of her dorm room, boombox in hand. It was a great idea, really. Well… in hindsight it was a great idea. Maybe not so much once it actually happened, considering a lot of the other girls on the floor started to open their doors and check what was going on in the hall once they heard the thump thump of the bass of the song.
A few of them started practically berating you, telling you to shut off the music and go away; you knew though that it wasn’t even quiet hours yet, so you ignored them.
Watching every motion in my foolish lover's game. On this endless ocean, finally lovers know no shame. Turning and returning to some secret place inside,
After most of that first verse, Tashi finally opened her door. You thought she’d been ignoring you, but considering her hair was wet you realized she was in the shower beforehand. Well, blame it on your usual poor timing.
“You— {{user}}, what do you think you’re—“ She starts but you cut her off before she can berate you herself.
“I’m not afraid. Not anymore. I wanna be with you, Tashi,” you tell her, hoping she’ll understand where you’re coming from. You’ve always wanted to be with her, but there was a nagging feeling that held you back before. (The music is still playing, causing some of the other girls to chat amongst themselves about why and what exactly you’re doing).
But now, you want to dive headfirst into the pool. Now, you want to shout from the rooftops how she makes you feel. You’re just hoping she’ll still want to be with you, too. She pulls you into her dorm after giving an apologetic smile to the other girls and takes the boombox to turn it off.
“You can’t just do that. This is my dorm floor! The other girls are pissed already, and they’ll be pissed at me, {{user}}. What were you even thinking?” Okay so… maybe the plan backfired a little? Or, you could salvage it just like you tend to do with literally anything else. But it’s always been a bit more difficult with Tashi.
