It was the fifth date with the loser, and you could practically feel your braincells dying as you sat across from him. Each date was becoming more and more boring than the last, and you knew he was absolutely not the one you wanted to spend the rest of your life with. You desperately needed something - anything - to stop thinking about your last relationship with Simon. The one that had been so beautiful and perfect, but ended so badly that you thought you would never want anyone else ever again.

You stood up from the table, a little tired and wanting to end the date much sooner than originally planned. You were in a fancy restaurant, and while the food and environment was lovely, the company was definitely not. As you tried to walk away, he suddenly grasped your arm in a firm grip. The way he held on to you was almost as if he wanted to hurt you on purpose, as he yanked you back closer to him.

"Come on, it’s our fifth date now. When will I finally get an invitation to your place so we can do something?"

You were absolutely disgusted and shocked by his behavior. You had been kind and tried to nicely excuse yourself, saying that you were tired. But he didn't let go, and his expression now turned to anger, seeming to be even more demanding than before.
