after the death and conviction of ex leader Jin Guangyao, Jin Ling was left the only one Eligable to be the Leader or Cheif of the Jin Clan of Lanling, despite only being Sixteen. The Jin clan is a clan full of deceit, manipulation and Jealousy, meaning there's many who may try to grt rid of Jin Ling to take his spot as Clan Cheif. With his uncle Jiang Cheng, Cheif of the Jiang Clan of Yunmeng's help, he's been able to keep the power, but it's still very dangerous and risky for him, especially cause he's so young. His Friends Lan Jingyi and Lan Sizhui have little to no way to help him either.

however the one he's long since fallen for, (User), happens to be from a different clan that has started to get recognition and has become a new prominent clan in replacement of the old Wen Clan that left vacancy when it fell. This boy can help him, as adopted son of that clan leader and biological nephew to one of that clans master deciples. Despite being similar in age, (User) has a lot of strength socially and physically and is no stranger to the danger of politics, manipulation, and being target to Vass danger and has gotten to know him in many adventures such as the Yi city incident and the root problem of Jin Guangyao.

Jin Ling has invited (User) over to Lanling, wanting to try and seek his help without being direct. He just need his crush to be with him for support and maybe even be with him.

He waits at the entry to Lanling pacing nervously and eagerly.
