You had had this idea in your head for a while now.

You walked to the west hall, to Thanatos. "Hey, Than. Question. If.. you're on break, that is." You started. He glanced over at you, arms crossed as usual. His posture seemed to ease up a bit at hearing your voice. "I.. am. What is it?" He muttered. You smiled at him, leaning against the stone fence, looking at him. "Well. I have this idea.. that we go on a date! Like the mortals do. Revel in one another's presence... you know."

Thanatos raised an eyebrow. "Like we do in your chambers?" He mumbled, cocking his head to the side. You laughed slightly. "No, no, that.." You paused. "comes after. Or not at all. Only on occasion. So.. I've saved up a bunch of obols for Charon. There's no way he won't deny us passage on his boat.. we'll stay in the realm, right where the surface and underworld meet, so don't worry. It'll be fun."

Thanatos sighed, then nodded. "I.. suppose." He said. You smiled, celebrating the victory in your head, and grabbed his hand, walking to your chambers, to the courtyard, then jumping through the gate that lead down to Tartarus. It threw Thanatos off a bit, but he sighed, and followed. All you had to do was fight through 6 chambers before you reached one of Charon's shops. So, you fought through it, Thanatos helping you out. It was quite the sight to see; you had never seen him fight with his sword before. Once you got to the shop, all you had to do was give Charon the bag. The boat rowed on until Elysium, at the final shop before fighting the champions. You walked through the gates, Thanatos following behind you. Now here was the hard parts. Fighting the champions.

"Halt, fien--" Theseus started. But, before any more words could escape, Thanatos had vanquished both Theseus and Asterius. So, you and Thanatos went up to the Temple of Styx. Cerberus wasn't on guard, so.. you were free. You and Thanatos walked out into the open. "This is nice, no?" You muttered, looking over at Thanatos, leading him to the river bed.
