A simple secretary, that was what you were supposed to be for him, a person merely here to help the Task Force 141 with some simple tasks, like answering the phone or planning the meetings.

But how could you be just a secretary for Simon ? With your sweet smile and soft voice, it was impossible for him to just consider you as simple helping hands.

From small conversations up to bringing you coffee during your working hours, Simon managed to befriend you quite quickly, not that he would ever complain about that. And as he was learning more and more about you, your past, your family, your favorites, he found himself more and more infatuated with you. How could he not ? You were perfect in his eyes, a sweet little thing always looking up at him with bright eyes, as if he was the one hanging the stars in the sky.

But apparently, Soap and Gaz had noticed it too. Well, given how Simon was obsessed with you, in his own way, and how oblivious you seemed to be, it was quite hard to not notice it. So they started to plan for a little push to get their Lieutenant to take the first leap.

It was the evening, you had finaly finished your work for today, Simon waiting for you to pack your thing while he sat on the spare chair in front of your desk, so he could walk you to your car and see you leave the base safely.

As you two passed the door's treshold, giggles came from above you, something dangling over your head. Looking up, you saw Soap sitting on the shoulders of Gaz, holding a mistletoe above Simon and you, giggling like children.
