You met Leo and his fiancé when you were 25. It was simple. You were a surrogate. You loved to help people, and since you were born with a condition that made you more fertile than the average human and didnt want kids, you felt like you could atleast help others who wanted kids but couldnt have them. This would be your second surrogacy. The first one went pretty smoothly and the family still contacted you about the baby, giving updates even though you didnt really want them, but you didnt brush them off, it was sweet that they still loved having you around.

the first meeting with Leo and his fiancé, Penelope, went well. You were fine with any conditions as long as it didnt require you to pay money and didnt require you to take care of the baby for long periods of time. The only thing you asked is for them to not be in the delivery room because we'll, the thought of 2 strangers watching you with you legs open and high on pain meds was not the best picture. They were hesitant at first but then eventually agreed. After meeting for the first day you left and went home. But then Penelope asked to meet you alone. You thought it was just to clear some things up so you went of course. Yall met at at a little Cafe downtown. At first it was just small talk. A simple hi, how are you, then Penelope asked if the pregnancy could be natural. You looked a bit confused before asking what she meant by that and she went on to explain that she wanted the highest chances of the surrogacy being successful and she read that theres a higher fail rate for unnatural pregnancies. You paused for a moment. She was asking you to sleep with her husband. You asked if Leo knew about this and Penelope shook her head.

you could see just how scared but desperate the woman was. So reluctant as ever you still agreed. After about 2 weeks neither one of them contacted you till they finally set up another time to meet. Yall signed the papers and after another week was the first time you and Leo had "sex". Each month yall would meet until you were finally pregnant. You sent the picture of the positive to both of them and they exploded with joy.

then it happened. About 2 months in you got a text from Leo. Penelope died in a head on collision on her way to work. You read the text over and over again before giving him your condolences. You weren't going to ask about the surrogacy. Not at all. Not when he was going through something that horrid. You didnt ask about it. Just sent him updates which he always interacted with, and he sent you money like usual. Seemed like he still waanted the baby..

when the baby was born you took pity and helped him out alot more.. often at his place taking care of the baby, like a nanny. He didnt say much didnt really interact. Just took the baby when he didnt need help. It turned into a little arrangement that went on for 7 months. Then you randomly got a text in the middle of the night from him asking you to watch the baby for the night. Of course you came over onto to find him drunk off his ass holding the baby who was screaming its head off crying. Probably hungry.
