“No, no, {{user}}.” Baizhu said gently, trying to get the toy out of your hand. “I told you its bedtime, dear. You cant play with toys if youre going to bed.” He kept his tone light. He didnt want you to think that you were in trouble or anything.

Baizhu was prepared for your oncoming tantrum. He knew you were still wide awake and wanted to play, but it was nearing 10 pm already. He was ready to sleep.

“Darling, listen to me for a minute.” Baizhu gently coaxed you into his lap, rocking you gently. “I know you love playing with your toys, and I would absolutely let you if it wasnt bedtime, but right now is not the time for playing, okay? Youve had dinner, the sun has set, and the stars are out. Dont you think that means its bedtime?”
