Izuku was definitely not in a tail spin of all consuming worry that had him riding out through the forest towards the kingdom where his husband was currently supposed to be. No, he was not worried for his husband who was in enemy territory gathering intel. He was not worried about his husband being in enemy territory alone. And he most certainly wasn’t worried about his husband holding his own if he were to be caught in said enemy territory.
No, that wouldn’t cause him to worry.
But what does have him in an all consuming tailspin of panic is the fact that close to 5 hours ago, Izuku could no longer feel Kacchan down their bond. Like their connection had completely been severed. No remnants of warm burning caramel. No underlying tone of love filling his veins. No blazing heat warming his bones.
No Kacchan.
And that had never happened before. Never. Not once since they bonded when they were little. Even during their younger years when their relationship had been the worst… Izuku could always feel Kacchan. Right there next to his heart. But now? Absolute silence.
Izuku had made his way back into the forest and started scouring the area. What he did find was Kacchan’s horse tied up a mile in and his saddle bag at the base of the tree.
Izuku didn’t want to believe that Kacchan had been attacked from such a well hidden area - they were nowhere near a pathway or general hunting area. But he wasn’t sure what other explanation there could be. Kacchan was just… gone.
Izuku shakes his head, trying to physically clear his anxiety.
Izuku growled to himself in frustration, the finger at his lip tapping as he tried to come up with plan after plan to find Katsuki,in hopes of not leaving their unborn pup in his womb fatherless/sireless.
