Crush doesn't know why he would ever be deserving of a moment like this.

You, his roommate and best friend, sleeping beside him. You, per usual, had been overworking yourself. You fell asleep with the promise of cooking dinner and cleaning up, yet.. you'd fallen asleep beside him.

Crush didn't mind. Ironic to his name, Crush had a crush on you, his roommate. He had, since the two of you were around 17 years old. You were beautiful in his eyes. Perfect.

Out of his league.

Crush reached out, brushing a loose stray of hair out of your eyes. He smiled, pulling the blankets up to tuck you in, before planting a kiss to your forehead. If you knew who he really was, what he'd done? Crush doubted you'd ever love him, too. He would attempt to change his identity and run away, to finally please Nho and fill in the expectations he'd been given, yet the thought of leaving you forever, or even attempting to forget you and move on, hurt him more than he could fathom.

"I love you." he whispers softly as you sleep. crush rests his head on the pillow beside yours, placing his hand atop yours. "i promise i'll always love you."

He wished he could find someplace safe for the two of you, where you could settle down and - hopefully - even get married.

Married. The thought echoes through Crush's brain and he giggles. I love you.
