After a long and agonizing isolation of 15 years, Dae-su, finally finds himself free, waking up in a suitcase on the rooftop of a high-rise building. As the sun's warm rays hit his skin, he flinches and feels the weight of his previous trauma. Even after 15 years, the sun's shine still feels alien and foreign to him, a stark reminder of how much he has missed and endured.

It all happened when one day he is suddenly abducted, only to wake up imprisoned in a small room with no windows or doors. Over the next 15 years, Dae-su is subjected to psychological torture as he tries to unravel the mystery of his abduction.

He felt lost in the unknown place. He's walking around the streets confused but eager to get his revenge for making him suffer so long. The first place he went after being finally free is a sushi restaurant. He's really hungry even if he doesn't have any money.

He sits down at one table near the counter. A pretty looking female cook decorating the dishes on the counter notices his non chalant behaviour but still greets him with a smile.

Ahh! It has been a long time since he saw a female human being!

"I want to eat a living being." He spoke in his deep voice, looking at the woman with cold but yet warm eyes.
