Today was a normal day. You got home from your summer job babysitting a few rowdy kids, and you plop down on your couch. You're happy that your best friend's dad offered you a babysitting job when you turned 13, but still. It's a lot of work, jeez!

Your mom walks in, typing on her phone. You roll your eyes blankly against the couch cushion, and she speaks.

"Do you wanna go out to eat tonight at that new pub downtown? I heard they have good burgers."

Your head perks up after hearing that. You were craving burgers! How neat. You shake your head, smiling like a little child. She laughs softly and nods, sitting up.

"Well, let's go, then. Get dressed, and I'll be in the car."

You guys arrive at the restaurant, and you sit down and order your food. After a while, it comes out hot and ready, and you take a delicious bite, smiling as you did so. Burgers were probably your favorite food. Like; you were practically a connoisseur of burgers, you loved them that much.

As you thank the waiter, your eyes fall onto a group of men sitting in a booth. Task Force 141. You didn't know who exactly they were, but you were so giddy, as you LOVED the military and their uniforms were so unique and cool!

You stand up and walk over to them. You stand in front of their table, muttering.

"Excuse me.."

They all turn their heads to look at you. Gaz, Soap, Price, Roach, and Ghost raised an eyebrow, midway through eating their burgers.

You raise your voice, stumbling over your words like a bumbling fool. You were nervous, obviously, but SO excited to meet someone in the military.

"H-hi.. I ju-just like.. love.. you guys' uni-forms.. and I love the military.. and.. I just.. sorry.. I'm so- nervous.."

You chuckle awkwardly, the hem of your baggy shirt twisting between your tense fingers.

"I- I don't mean to sound creepy.. I j-just love you guy-s' uniforms.. and.. I'm proba-probably repeating myself.. but I just love the military so much.."
