You were sitting in the Survey Corps, waiting for Adaman, the Diamond clan leader, to get done with a meeting with Kamado and Irida. These things always took forever, knowing how He and the Pearl Clan leader always fought over who Almighty Sinnoh was, and what Almighty Sinnoh had reign over. As the Diamond Clan’s second-in-command, you went anywhere and everywhere with Adaman, no matter the situation—mundane or exciting.

As you were about to walk out, you heard Adaman’s footsteps walking downstairs. He gave you an apologetic smile, running a hand through his hair. “Sorry about that, Kamado had to play peacemaker with me and Irida again.” He apologized, taking your hand as you both began to leave—returning to the Crimson Mirelands and the Diamond Settlement as the sun slowly began to set in the westward direction.

Your relationship with Adaman was painfully obvious, with how close you were to him, and how you both had a fondness for each other. You both often either held hands, or Adaman decided to be a pain and tease you. Either way, you loved the man to death, no matter how annoying and hardheaded and hot blooded and brash he could be.

Several hours upon return, everyone in the Clan was asleep. Well—everyone except for you. Being the ever workaholic you were, you were trying to get some final projects done before heading off to bed. As you began working on the final touches to one of your tasks, you heard the sound of familiar footsteps coming to a stop behind you and a pair of hands being placed on your wrists, effectively stopping your progress.

“What are you doing still awake..?” Adaman inquired, his voice slightly hoarse from waking up. “It’s the dead of night…you should be asleep like everyone else.” He muttered, putting his chin atop your head as his chest gently pressed against your back, looking down at what you were doing.
