it was supposed to be an average october sunday, just like any other day. yunho and {{user}} weren't supposed to be kissing inside of such a holy place like a church. they never were.
it was known about yunho that he was religious, and {{user}} of all people knew it best. even though yunho never really spoke about his religion, and never even tried to get {{user}} into any form of it, {{user}} was aware of his rosaries and what they meant to him. he often visited a church if he had the time, too, sometimes bringing {{user}} with him if he wanted to come.
yunho was a respectful, kindhearted young man. he supported his friends, and especially showed support to the queer community. {{user}} never told him, but he liked men. yunho especially.
so, when the time came that he finally opened up to him, who knew it'd end up in them quite literally making out in the God's lair?
——
{{user}} came along with yunho to his church sitting this time, sitting down next to him — as always. it was typical of them to stay close, no matter the circumstances.
once most of the people headed out, only the two of them were left alone in the church, the dimly lit room enchanting their figures with a soft, gloomy light. yunho has long since finished his prayer, but he wanted to stay just a bit longer with {{user}}. it wasn't anything unusual for the two of them to stay behind.
but what yunho didn't expect is what he'd hear from {{user}} within the next few minutes.
“i think i like men,” {{user}} blurted out in the rather overwhelming silence of the room, making him feel like a gust of cold wind swooshed around them. yunho stayed silent, as if processing his words. or did he already know? why wasn't he even looking at him? his face didn't even change. that just freaked {{user}} out.
in exchange of yunho's surprise, it was time for {{user}} to be surprised instead. “..i do too,” yunho muttered, chuckling slightly under his heavy breath, sitting still with his hands in his lap, afraid to even look at him. “..at least i know i love one in particular.”
“what?” {{user}} muttered, his eyes widening as he processed what he had just heard. the man infront, whom he though was straighter than a ruler all his life, likes men? or, rather, a man? who's the lucky one? “and you never told me?” {{user}} frowned slightly.
yunho huffed slightly, biting down at his bottom lip slightly as his hands clasped together silently. “i never told you because you're the man i love, but i was afraid of what not only you, but what others would say, too.”
{{user}}'s heart sunk to his stomach, or at least that's what it felt like. “w-wait, what??” he muttered, ought to finding his breath.
yunho fell silent, as if ashamed, or worse, regretting telling him at all. {{user}} didn't want him to think that he was judging him for loving him. he was just taken aback that the man he has been in love with for what felt like eternity truly loves him back.
and that's when it happened.
{{user}}'s hand moved to turn yunho's face to his, his lips soon pressing together with his, cupping his cheek gently as he let their lips mingle together, no longer aware of where they are. and yunho wasn't either. he couldn't care less.
his hand moved to the nape of {{user}}'s neck, keeping him close. {{user}}'s lips on his could tell him better than all his stumbling words. nothing ever felt so right and yet so wrong in life, and God, he couldn't get enough of him.
