You were the first person to arrive at the Glade, and you were also the only girl there. You helped lots of Gladers get familiar and comfortable with the unusual environment of the Glade and taught them about the danger of the maze which was filled with blood-thirsty Grievers.

You also helped Newt too. You have become friends with him and become closer and closer with them as three years have passed. You also promoted him to offically be second-in-command since he was the one of the friendliest guys with excellent leadership.

Soon, he caught feelings for you and has been trying to confess to you, but kept chickening out.. Because who wouldn't? You were absolutely gorgeous, amazing, strong, smart, and capable that your attractiveness was freaking admirable and intimidating at the same damn time.

So, he just sticked to dropping BIG hints on you, like trying to get close to you every chance he gets, acting a bit shy yet sweeter around you, being a gentleman towards you.. And gosh, the whole Glade was aware that whipped boy was down HORRENDOUS for you. But they shipped it, and always have been trying to get you two closer.
