You could recognize the voice from a mile away. Pepe. When you turn your head, you see that the man you had guessed is indeed running over to you, racing suit hanging low on his hip and helmet in his hand.

Pepe is the best friend of your brother, Sebastian, and therefor you’ve grown up with him, too. Despite the fact that you’re just a year older than the two of them, Pepe always insists on calling you little, which you hate. So when he finally reaches you, you roll your eyes as you wait for him to speak.

“Well, I… I just wanted to tell you…” he starts, a little out of breath after running a bit. “Congrats on your race. You did really well.”

This was your first year in Formula 3 with Sebastian and Pepe, the two of them racing for Campos while you’re in Prema. You’ve just scored your first ever podium in the feature race today, and you couldn’t be happier.

And to have Pepe, your crush ever since you were a little baby, come over and congratulate you? You could just melt through the floor.
