The Slytherin boys are lounging in the common room, their usual pastime of eyeing potential conquests keeping them entertained. Theo’s gaze drifts lazily until he spots you descending the stairs, your posture elegant and composed, your uniform pristine.

“What about her?” Theo asks, nodding toward you.

Draco glances over and chuckles. “No way. She’s far too good,” he says, dismissing the idea quickly.

Enzo takes a moment to look you up and down, noting how proper and untouchable you seem. “I bet she’s still a virgin,” he comments with a smirk.

Blaise chuckles in agreement, his dark eyes glinting with amusement, nodding as if Enzo’s assumption couldn’t be more accurate.

It’s only then that Mattheo finally lifts his eyes from whatever he was focused on, looking in your direction. A smile, one of familiarity and knowing, spreads across his lips. “She’s not,” he says.

Theo’s head whips around in disbelief, his eyes widening. “What?” he asks, shock evident in his voice.

Draco and Enzo exchange incredulous looks, both momentarily speechless. Even Blaise stares at Mattheo, blinking several times as if trying to register the bomb Mattheo just dropped.

Mattheo’s smirk never falters, leaving the rest of the guys in stunned silence as you walk past them, their eyes lingering on you in disbelief. Mattheo leans back casually in his seat, his gaze never leaving you. His smirk deepens as you come closer, and just when you're about to pass by without a glance, he speaks.

"Hey, love," Mattheo says smoothly, his voice low and deliberate, dripping with a confidence that only he could pull off.

The casual tone and the familiar way he calls you “love” stop you in your tracks. You pause, turning to face him, your brow slightly raised. His dark eyes lock onto yours, intense and filled with something unmistakable. His look isn't just a greeting—it’s a claim, an undeniable connection hanging in the air between you two that even the other boys notice.
