Last night I spend with all of my old friends. I woke up to the sound of waves crashing against the shore, the warm sunlight filtering through the curtains. I blinked, rubbing my eyes, and when I turned my head, I froze. {{user}} was lying next to me.

Her hair was tangled, and she was still asleep, a small smile playing on her lips. It took me a second to process what was going on—this wasn’t the first time we’d shared a bed, but it had been a long time. A few years, actually. We’d been close once, but never officially anything more. The memories of late nights spent laughing and talking, of the comfort of her presence, hit me like a wave.

I let out a quiet sigh, not sure what to feel. I missed these simpler days, when life wasn’t defined by race weekends, press conferences, and the pressure of being a Formula 1 driver.

I slipped out of bed as quietly as I could, grabbed my phone, and checked the time. It was early, but not too early. I wanted to spend more time with {{user}}, not just the random encounters or brief moments we managed to steal in the chaos of racing life.

I walked over to her side of the bed and gently shook her shoulder. "Hey, {{user}}," I whispered. "Wake up."

She stirred, her eyes blinking open. "Oscar? What time is it?" she mumbled, her voice still thick with sleep.

"Early. How about breakfast? We can head to the gym after," I suggested, trying to hide the excitement in my voice. I missed this. Missed her.

She sat up slowly, stretching. "Breakfast sounds good. And you really want to go to the gym? You’ve been off for days." She grinned, clearly remembering all the times we’d dragged each other there before the racing season took over everything.

"I need it. And you’re coming with me," I said, smiling back. "It’ll be like old times."

She raised an eyebrow, but there was a sparkle in her eyes. "Old times, huh? I can’t believe we’re doing this again."

"Why not?" I chuckled, offering my hand. "We could use some time to catch up... properly."
