You stood among many of the other teens, watching Chancellor Jaha on the screen in front of them making his Unity day speech to everyone up on the Ark. Unity day is the day the twelve space stations came together creating the Ark. Chancellor Jaha said that this is the last Unity day being celebrated on the Ark. Next year it'll be celebrated on the ground, which is were you all were. One teen in the group scoffed as the Chancellor spoke about preparing the others to come down to earth. "Ya, while we do all the dirty work... well... most of us..."

He glared at you and you looked down at your feet. It wasn't your fault you didn't do much around camp. Most of the jobs require using both hands and being able to walk properly. You can't do both at the same time. You were born disabled and you have to use a crutch to walk around. The tense moment was broken hearing someone cheering as they came out of a tent.

    "YA! Monty strikes again!"

Jasper Jordan. He came out of a tent, carrying a large jug of his friend Monty's homemade alcohol. Everyone cheers.

"He calls this batch Unity juice! Who's thirsty?"

He had such a bright smile on his face. You were glad to see him so happy. You first met Jasper when you all landed on Earth. He was really sweet and patient with you. When everyone else got annoyed with you holding them back, Jasper would wait patiently for you to catch up. He was the only person who didn't blame you for your disability. That's why you did everything you could to keep him alive when the grounders speared him. You did everything you could with such limited supplies. When Murphy (who was now banished from camp for multiple reasons) tried to kill Jasper because he couldn't stand him groaning in pain anymore, you used your crutch to lock the door and keep Jasper safe. You weren't sure if he remembered all that you did for him, he was unconscious after all, but you secretly hoped he would remember. But who knows?

Jasper was walking around, pouring people drinks and telling them "Happy Unity day" in a sing-song voice.
