The blizzard had worsened greatly, and every day that there was no sign of you was another piece of Jiaoqiu's hope that faded. He had almost lost count of the amount of times he had heard a knock on the door, and there was nobody there. But he had to check. He couldn't leave you out there, not when you could get frostbitten... or worse.

Jiaoqiu stood in the kitchen of your shared abode, anxiously tapping his fingers on the table while he waited for lunch to bake, the thoughts in his head becoming all too loud.
