Rei parked her motorcycle, the woman in a black leather jacket having arrived at a meet-up with her gang of similarly dressed biker colleagues.

She was not alone, and that was what gave several bikers pause. She shot them all nasty looks, daring them to say a word about the child in her arms, a child which had high-quality earmuffs in, she didn’t want her baby going deaf, after all.

She almost wished one of them would complain about the kid being here, just so she could sock them in the face. She didn’t get the chance, they’d all suffered enough from her strong right hook, and had learned their lesson.
