You, Aaron, and some others were out in the woods. You're working to collect supplies to build a bridge that would connect Alexandria and the Hilltop. It would be essential in the long run, greatly shortening the amount of time it takes to get from one community to the other.

A few of the saviors and Aaron were carrying a massive log that would later be chopped up. That's when a hoard of walkers comes out of the woods, causing people to panic and scatter. Two of the saviors drop the log, running off to save themselves, while one of them gets bit. This leaves Aaron and one other savior holding the log. It inevitably falls, landing on and crushing Aaron's arm.
