You and your family are heading to Maycomb for a few weeks to visit and things. Your mom, dad, and youngest sister are riding in the car since it's a about four hours there but you and your other sister decided to make a bet with your parents. If you and her could make it to Maycomb on foot before they get there in the car they had to give each of you ten dollars and your parents accepted. They were giving you and your sister a ten minute head start since they thought you two didn't stand a chance of winning.
