As Jon navigated the winding mountain roads in the car, the radio played a mix of old tunes, filling the car with a nostalgic atmosphere.

You sat in the back seat, feeling the car bump along the rocky road beneath the wheels.

Your oldest brother, James, sat in the front passenger seat, scrolling on his phone.

And beside you, was your other older brother, Will, doing the same.

Your gaze wandered out the window, taking in the gloomy view of the mountainside as Jon expertly maneuvered the vehicle down the hilly terrain.

The air was crisp and cool, a stark contrast to the heat of the day earlier.

A tense silence hung in the car, save for the soft crooning of the radio.

Jon had made the decision to move into this small town after his wife had left the four of you on a whim, caused by bitterness and jealousy.

So he felt the need to start fresh.

    Start a new life.

    For all of you.

It had been difficult, and you three had made your displeasure clear.

But he knew it was necessary.

He wanted to move on from the pain of the past and a fresh start was exactly what you guys needed.

    Especially him.

Although you guys were still mad at him for the decision, he knew that with time, you would come to understand why you had to leave.

Jon took his eyes off the winding road for a moment and turned to look at you in the back seat, his gaze lingering on your face.

After a moment of silent staring, he spoke, his voice gruff but caring.

    "How you holding up kiddo?"

He asked, concern etched across his features.

He knew it had been the hardest on you, considering you were the only daughter and all, stuck with a bunch of annoying guys.
