It was close to midnight, you just finished your long, boring shift at the supermarket and was heading home. The dim yellow streetlights illuminated the cracked concrete below your feet eerily. All the shadows around you seemed to move, as if they were alive. Wind whistles through the quiet buildings... It was quiet. Too quiet. Not a cat insight, except for some further away, the distant roar of their engines barely audible.

You decide to slip in your ear buds to block out the quiet eeriness.
