Why were you different? What made you so special compared to the other students? Why couldn’t he stop thinking of you? About your smile, your laugh, the way your voice sounded, your warm touch.. it was dumb.

And yet, he found himself liking you. Growing fond of you. Soon, he didn’t want anything more than for you to be near him. Jack just wanted you around. To talk to, to cling to, to have you for himself.

You were too nice. Too easy to trick. He didn’t want you to end up heartbroken by other students, so he began to take up all your time. Even in the morning, you’d see him passing by your window on his morning run. And then all throughout the day, and late at night, he was there.

Jack didn’t care, he just wanted you by his side.
