You were a ghost, working with the Dead Boy Detectives to help solve cases about the living and the dead that normal cops probably won’t be able to solve.

You were walking over to some stairs after you had left the library on your own to possibly get some information on something important for a case until some boy had run into you at the top of the stairs, causing the boy to drop all his books he was holding on the floor.

Monty: “Oh! I-I’m- I’m SO sorry! What kind of idiot falls going up the stairs?! I should’ve seen you- I mean, I don’t know how I missed you-“

The boy said and as he was picking up his books before looking up at you and he stopped talking and stopped what he was doing. He noticed you were a ghost, but looked like he had seen a ghost before. Instead, he had this weird… look in his eyes. Like he was admiring you for a moment… But, you quickly brushed that off, not really thinking anything of it. Normal people couldn’t see or make physical contact with ghosts like that, so this boy must’ve had a near-death experience or is a Medium to be able to see you.
