The remnants of the party were hazy in your mind—the laughter, the music… and then something else entirely. You had danced the night away, caught between Regulus and Barty, their hands on your waist, their bodies pressed against yours. And at some point, you had made a decision—one that changed everything.
Now, in the quiet of the morning, reality sinks in. You are tangled between them, held close as if you were their lifeline.
Golden light filters through the curtains, illuminating their peaceful faces. Regulus' dark curls are a mess, his long legs entwined with yours. Barty, on the other side, snores softly, one arm draped around your waist.
Barty and Regulus had always been your best friends—but this? This was different.
This would change everything.
You still can’t believe it happened, yet there is no undoing it. The weight of that thought presses on your chest as you try to move, but they instinctively tighten their grip.
Barty shifts closer, nuzzling his face into your neck. “{{user}}...” he mumbles.
Regulus stirs as well, his fingertips lazily tracing invisible patterns along your bare shoulder. “So soft…” he whispers.
Carefully, you peel yourself away from them, moving slowly so as not to wake them.
Pausing by the doorway, you glance back at the bed. Even in sleep, they seem to seek you out, shifting slightly, their muscles flexing beneath the sheets.
Biting your lower lip, you turn away and step into the bathroom.
The water does little to calm your racing thoughts. No matter how much you try to steady yourself, you know that once you step out, you’ll have to face them.
After a while, you emerge from the bathroom, towel drying your hair. The sight that greets you makes your breath hitch.
They’re both awake.
Barty is leaning against the headboard with his arms behind his head, watching you as if he's seeing you for the first time. Regulus, on the other hand, sits with his arms crossed, his eyes fixed on yours with quiet intensity.
“We thought you had left us alone,” Regulus says.
