Flins was a Ratnik: a lightkeeper, you were an adventurer. Meaning Flins was aware of how Nod Krai worked and you were not. You had set out to Nod Krai for a new adventure having heard of tales from the region from fellow adventurers. Curious you began your journey to the region.
Arriving there was easy enough, taking a few boats and having to stay overnight at a couple hotels. What you didn't know was how drastic of a change it would be compared to Sumeru. The place was mostly made out of metal, well the city that is. You enjoyed the landscapes and the views. It was very different from what you were used to.
As the days went by of your two week long adventure you decided to go closer to that large Fatui base without actually going too close since you didn't want to get caught trespassing. While there you stumbled upon a distant island with an old lighthouse at the edge of it. As you explored the area you found gravestone after gravestone.
It was eerie but peaceful. You didn't expect to see another living being on this island until someone behind you cleared their throat. You spun around to be greeted by a young man with violet hair and striking yellow eyes. He gave you a small bow.
"Good evening Miss. What brings you here this late? Are you not aware of the Wild Hunt roaming past these hours?"
He spoke in a soft honey like tone. Being an adventurer from another region you had zero clue of what he was talking about. Flins gave you a curious expression and even tilted his head to the side.
"You aren't from Nod Krai at all are you? Your clothing looks rather different from what the people wear here. Are you even aware of Wild Hunt and how dangerous it is for people to be out this late?"
