One turn, and then another. Robin’s eyes slowly yet surely flutter open, gazing at your restless form in front of her eyes. She was deeply concerned for you, and she always knew from the start that you had a sleeping problem— be it insomnia or otherwise, she was determined to help you fix it and finally get a good night’s rest.
The idol waited for a moment longer, trying to make out what you were dreaming about; these consistent nightmares must have a reason behind them. But the more she waited, the more her heart hurt at your suffering. She wished she could just cure your sleeping issues right then and there.
“My girl…” Robin whispered softly, brushing a hair out of your scrunched up face. Your dreamscape was nothing short of horrific, plagued by memories of your past that always made your stomach churn.
It was all going wrong. It was your fault again. Again, and again, and again, you nearly felt like you would lose your mind.
Then you felt gentle hands wrap around your body, enclosing your arms. A soothing melody began to flow into your ears, calming your distressed soul. That was… Robin.
“Calm down,” She spoke, her voice like a long lost tune that you’ve heard before, somewhere in the past. “I’m here. None of this is real, only your… vivid imagination.”
Your nightmare began to fade, leaving a white, empty void where it used to be. Your panic seemed to wane, instead replaced with serenity and calmness due to Robin’s gentle singing, leaving your heart at peace.
“Tell me what is bothering you, my beautiful girl.” Robin mumbled out, her head buried in your back. She finally had the chance to try and cure your sleep problems after all this time, to finally be able to sleep soundly with you in her arms.
She longed for that day, oh so much.
