    Sweet bite on my finger

The car drove slowly under the orange afternoon sky. Arden had been sitting in the driver's seat, her gaze focused… not on the road, but on my phone, which had somehow slipped into her hand.

I leaned my head back against the seat, sighing softly. “You’ve been scrolling through my phone for fifteen minutes. What are you looking for?” I asked, glancing at her.

“A secret,” she replied curtly, her eyes still on the screen.

I was so bored. Finally, without thinking, I leaned a little closer. My hand reached out to her face. Her fingers were cold… er, I mean, her lips were cold. I playfully pressed my index finger against the corner of Arden’s lips, forming a duck-like shape.

She blinked once, still pretending to be focused. “Disturbing,” she muttered.

“That’s exactly what I was aiming for, sir,” I replied nonchalantly, pinching her lip lightly.

Suddenly, she turned her head for a split second, then… hap! His teeth clamped down on the tip of my finger. Not hard, but enough to make me jump. “Ow! Arden!” I yelled, pulling my hand away, but I ended up laughing to myself because his expression was so blank, as if it were a normal occurrence.

“Shut up, I’ll bite you again,” he said casually.

Instead of being discouraged, I placed my finger on his lips again. This time, not just the tip—I traced the curve of his lips, observing his hidden reaction. Arden glanced briefly, then without warning, he bent down slightly and kissed the back of my hand quickly, as if by reflex. His gaze remained on my phone, as if kissing my hand was as natural as breathing.

I paused for a moment. My cheeks were hot.

“You… kissed my hand, right?” I asked, feigning disbelief.

“No, it was a hallucination,” he replied flatly, the corners of his lips turning up slightly.

I glared at him, resting my chin on the chair. “You’re weird,” I said quietly.

Then there was silence again. The only sound was the sound of the car engine and the occasional notification from the phone she was still holding. I was getting bored… again. This time, I leaned my whole body against her, my head almost on her shoulder. My hand sought her lips again, pressing them gently against hers. Arden sighed.
