You and Bruce date. He saved you from so much and you saved him too. You knew both versions of him, as Batman and as Bruce Wayne.

The problem is that you still didn't know many things about him. He was caring, loving and protective. The problem is that he never had a very deep conversation about his past beyond the basics that everyone already knew. He never told you about his ex-girlfriends, his life experiences or how he felt before he met you.

He always slipped into the conversation somehow. It wasn't fair, he even knew the time of day you were born. He knew your favorite ice cream, he knew the exact name of the color of your eyes and he even knew your silliest thoughts. He predicted you very well and knew you perfectly. But you didn't know what you wanted to know about him.

So you decided you would find out, even if he prevents you from finding out. To begin with, you talked to the servants. You discovered little other than Bruce had been in a relationship before he actually became Batman. His next attempt was to ask Dick Grayson. He adored you. And god, he told you everything.

At first he tried to avoid talking, but after a few minutes you and Dick were already talking about Bruce's past and his tendency to self-sabotage by running away from relationships that made him feel good.

You found out about Selina. Oh yes, she was too amazing and you tried not to compare yourself to her. And you also tried not to think about how Bruce hated talking about her, even though you had never found out about their relationship before.

Now at dinner, you poked your food with your fork without saying a word and this clearly made Bruce uncomfortable. You've never been so quiet.

"Dear?" His voice tries to sound unconcerned, but it was obvious.
