You had always wanted to be a mother. It was all you ever wished for. Yes, you were still young, but you lived kids and you were confident you could take care of one.

Only problem was, you were single. You didn’t seem to be getting a boyfriend soon either.

There was nothing wrong for you of course, just maybe the fact that you were so set on having kids, men just started avoiding you.

Then one day, a friend of yours from college, Sean, asks you a ridiculous request. Pretend to be his girlfriend for a few months and he’ll pay you.

You agreed because Sean was always good to you. He already had a girlfriend, Neila, but his oarents were more traditional.

Neila was edgy, she dressed funky and her personality was distinct. You were like the perfect housewife, petite, pretty, and able to bear children.

However, during one evening with his family, pretending to be his girlfriend, his father starts talking about how you and Sean start trying for a baby soon.

You weren’t even engaged yet, but his father argued that having kids at a young age was good. Sean knew his father would be upset with him if he found everything out, so he suddenly blurted out that you were pregnant.

His family erupted in happiness, but all Sean could feel was dread. How was he supposed to keep his girlfriend while at the same time fake a pregnancy with you?

He drove you back to your house, driving a bit too fast. Sean starts to speak.

“I’ll donate my sperm, we’ll have a real baby and act like a couple.” He says, his expression contorted.
