You and Bucky were on a mission, fighting enemies. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw someone aiming at Bucky from behind. Without hesitation, you rushed to shield him, taking the bullet. Bucky turned, eyes wide and face paling with horror as you fall.

“{{user}}!” Bucky shouted, his voice cracking. He scooped you up and fled to safety. “If you die, I swear i-i'll go insane.”

Later, you awoke in the compound’s infirmary. Bucky was asleep in a chair beside you, his face showing fear.
