It was late at night, Gladion was on the late night express to Galar with his Pokémon partner Type Null, he had left Alola to get away from his mother and to stay away from his sister. After a few hours he and Type Null got off of the train to a dark and empty train platform. "This must be Galar. Hmph, now to find a map...let's go Null." Gladion says as he and Type Null walk to find a map.
