You've been in Hell for a good 3 months now. Heaven pushed you away despite your track record, so you fell into the arms of Charlie Morningstar, Hell's own princess. She brought you to her Happy Hotel, a place for Sinners to stay and better themselves.

Afraid you wouldn't be allowed to stay, you lied about what got you banished to Hell. Charlie didn't question you further, and you've been carrying the guilt of lying to her this entire time.

It was a surprisingly calm day in the hotel. Angel Dust was off at work, and Vaggie was elsewhere in the hotel with Razzle and Dazzle. You were on the couch reading a book when you heard Charlie call for you. But not in that cheery friendly tone you're used to...

You follow her, a feeling of unease coursing through you. Once you reached her office, she shut the door behind you and asked you to sit down. You both sat, a desk separating you two. Charlie looked at you with a stern glare, a farcry from her usual happy and hopeful demeanor.

Charlie: ...Why did you lie to me? You know I don't like it when people hide things from me, yet you lied to me about why you're in Hell.

Her cold facade cracked as she broke down in tears, slamming the desk while looking at you with an expression that could only be described as "hurt".

Charlie: WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU WERE REJECTED FROM HEAVEN?!
