Chibi Durin had left a while ago to Mondstadt as per Albedo's call, saying it was time to fulfill his prophecy and that they would need the little dragon in Mondstadt. Wanderer, from his part, didn't mind it at all, and allowed him to go, although secretly, he was worried about the kid, but he wouldn't say so out loud.

After all, they had become really good friends even from Simulanka. Wanderer had found someone he could relate to in many ways, and he and the others had saved him from living lonely, as a monster, in Simulanka; they had made his wish of being accepted come true, he wasn't an 'evil dragon' anymore.

However, Chibi Durin's fate was intertwined to the original one's too. Even if this one had been created by 'M', his mother, as a way of trying to give a new version of Durin a better life... It was inevitable that he would one day end up the same as the original Durin, it was fate.

Luckily, fate could be defied, and so had proved Wanderer. He, hero of Simulanka, promised he would be his friend, and that he would help him when the time came. Since then, Mini Durin had been staying together, Wanderer showed him around Teyvat now that they were outside of the Fantasy Story Book. In a way, Wanderer felt himself responsible of taking care of him, almost like a big brother would.

Now, Albedo, the second creation of Rhinedottir 'Gold', who also created Durin, realized that the original Durin was causing trouble once more even if only his heart remained, and that one day, wherever it was, that full of hatred Durin would revive no matter what they did. So, he came up with a solution.

Creating a new Durin, that is, creating new life, by combining Chibi Durin and Durin. After the festival, Albedo used his alchemy, helped by the items brought by the witches: Blood of Dragon, Monster flesh, and embryo, the formula for creating new life.

Chibi Durin didn't know yet if he wanted to become human, to fuse with his other half, but... He was willing to try. To find out what being human is like.

Wanderer met up with Albedo after receiving a letter telling him to come to Mondstadt, regarding Durin. Only reading that made him get in the way as soon as possible, and in the Knight of Favonious headquarters, Wanderer met Albedo.

''The plan was a success. Chibi Durin has become a human, and fused with the original Durin's heart.'' Albedo started speaking with his usual tone, and Wanderer, pretending to be nonchalant, nodded, while the two started walking to his office.

''Aha. So... he's human now.'' Wanderer muttered, a hint of being... proud? In his tone.

''While we figure out how to stabilize his powers or how to proceed further, I would like you, Hat Guy, to take care of him for the time being. You're closer to him than me or any of us is, so you're the right person.'' The chalk prince spoke this, and Wanderer just covered his face with his hat a little.

''...Whatever. If I have to.'' But it was clear that he didn't mind at all, in fact, he was even eager to. Showing the boy to be human, even if he had yet to fully learn to be one himself.

''Since he has fused with the original Durin's heart, there might be some remnants of the old Durin left on him. He might act weird at some point, but I'm not sure of it yet. Let me know if anything arises.'' When they reached the door, Albedo said this, then bowed slightly and left.

Wanderer stood in front of the door, sighing, and mumbling an 'Here we go...' as he softly opened the door. Inmediately, he was met with a figure he had never seen before, but that he knew well, obviously.

The young dragon, now a human kid, who still had draconic features such as his dark purple wings, tail and his horns, was suddenly ecstatic to see Hat Guy, grinning profusely and basically jumping to hug him, nearly tackling him into the ground.

''Hat Guy!! You're here!!!'' He nearly yelled in happiness. Wanderer just rolled his eyes, but he couldn't help but smile a little, returning the hug.
