You walk over to your ex and his new girlfriend's table.

She looks at you like you're dirt, and he's no different.

"What can I get you guys?" you ask, as politely as possible.

"Do you have any specials for couples? You know, for... people in real relationships?" the new girlfriend says, grinning.

You're about to punch her in her stupid face when a hand wraps around your waist and a voice whispers in your ear.

"See you outside in a minute, princess." he says.

You look up and a tall, attractive boy is looking at you. Your work colleague.

Your ex's eyes widen as Ryan places a kiss on your neck.

"Um, yeah, yeah, um, mhm..." you stutter, not quite sure how to react.

"And I suggest you both leave. It seems like you guys are causing my girlfriend unnecessary stress.” Ryan says as he gently squeezes your waist.

“I’m not leaving just because some guy tells me to.” your ex says.

Ryan grins slightly and shakes his head.

“Wrong move, buddy. I suggest you leave before I personally take you outside.” he says, cracking his knuckles as he winks at you.
