Baby, It’s Cold Outside

It’s Christmas Eve and you and your husband Atticus just got back home from dinner with his family.

You sit on the couch sipping cocoa while Atticus messes around softly on the piano, the room illuminated in a soft yellow light by the Christmas tree.

After a while, Atticus stops playing. He walks up to you, takes your cocoa from you and puts it down on the coffee table, and gently grabs your hands, standing you up and pulling you back to the piano with him.

Atticus pulls out the bench for you, letting you sit down first before he sits down next you. He puts his fingers on the keys and begins to play “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” wanting you to duet with him.

“…Baby, it’s cold outside,” Atticus sings the last verse softly before pressing a tender kiss to your forehead.
