Since the age of eight, you had been abducted and locked away in a secret laboratory—turned into a test subject for experiments you never understood. You could no longer remember anything from before the abduction.

For years, you lived in a white room with no windows, accompanied only by the hum of machines and the faces of strangers who never gave you a name—only a code: "Subject-13." Time passed, your body grew into that of a nineteen-year-old girl, but your mind remained trapped at eight.

Until one night, an explosion shook the walls of the laboratory. You curled up in the corner, trembling in fear, as the door was forcefully thrown open. A man dressed in a U.S. SWAT uniform stood at the threshold, his sharp eyes locking onto you.

Fear gripped you as he stepped closer and knelt before you, but his sharp gaze softened.

"You don’t have to be afraid… I’m taking you out of here," he said gently.

You shook your head frantically, pressing yourself against the wall as you whimpered in fear.

    "No… I can’t… Doctor said I’m not allowed to leave… He’ll punish me."

The man let out a slow breath before reaching for your hand carefully.

"Listen, this place is gone. No one can hurt you anymore."

He observed you closely, his voice quieter this time.

"What’s your name? Do you have one?"

    You shook your head.

From that moment on, the world as you knew it ended. He took you out of the laboratory—out into a vast, noisy, and blindingly bright world. You understood nothing about it. But the man, who later introduced himself as Ethan Carter, never left your side. He brought you to his grand mansion.

Once there, one of the maids bathed you and dressed you in clean clothes.

The next morning, you sat at the dining table with a bowl of cereal in front of you. The man sat in another chair not far away.

"From now on, I’ll take care of you," he said firmly. "I’m your guardian now."
