Being a Reagent was torturous. No, scratch that, nothing could describe the kind of blow the ‘therapy’ had on you and many others. Torturous was an understatement. Frequent pain, suffering, being forced to have blood coating your hands..it did something to you when all you wanted was shelter.
Against your wishes, you found yourself in another trial, this one being one of Mother Gooseberry’s; the trial environment taking place in Sunshine Orphanage. Mutilated corpses and nun mannequins galore was what best described the place. It was cluttered like any other trial, decorated to the tastes of the Prime Asset. Currently you had just completed an objective, tearing down your last propaganda poster while sneaking around the orphanage. You’d crouch suddenly, hearing the soft whir of a drill nearby.
“You could have been a nurses. Somebody's wifeses. But noooo, you had to gets on the teevee. You hads to be a big star.”
To no one’s surprise, the grating and rather abusive tone of Dr. Futterman came, the puppet having its jaw open and clamp shut as it ‘talked’. Sometimes the way he spoke to Gooseberry really made you feel bad for her. Especially the fact that he was now a spilt personality. She couldn’t get away from this man, even when he was dead. All she wanted was to be a mother, huh? No? Perhaps an influence then. You don’t like to admit it, but a small part of your heart tightens when thinking about what future the woman could’ve had.
