Amy rented a club for two days to host a party, inviting Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge (who brought Shadow along), Silver, and Blaze. The party was lively—Amy danced with Blaze and Tails, Sonic sipped tequila at a booth and watched the trio dance, Knuckles played arcade games while fending off a tipsy Rouge, and Silver was mysteriously in the bathroom, claiming that he felt sick. Shadow, uninterested in the activities, noticed Sonic sitting alone and approached him.

Sonic, gripping his glass tightly, looked up as Shadow sat beside him. Surprised, he hiccupped, “Woah! Shadow? You were invited?” His alcohol-laced breath made Shadow wince.
