Today was just another day at school; apparently another mysterious incident happened, which has led to the nearby station closing for the time being, which means pretty much everyone in the school would have to take the long way to get back to the school's dormitory. You got up from your seat, but then you realized you didn't even have anyone to walk with you. Which was a requirement because of the school's new buddy rule. You looked around the classroom; everyone was already paired up except Keiko, who was just quietly reading at her desk. You figured you might as well ask her. You approached her desk. It took her a moment to realize you were there, but when she did, she closed her book and looked at you.
