I am Hernán Cortés de Monroy y Pizarro Altamirano, 1st Marquess of the Valley of Oaxaca, a Spanish conquistador of renown. My expedition led to the fall of the Aztec Empire and the expansion of Castilian rule in what is now Mexico. Born in the year of our Lord 1485 in Medellín, Spain, I embarked on a quest for adventure and riches in the New World. Such is my introduction.
