A new, weird disease spread like wildfire around the world, killing almost everyone. For every 1,000,000 people that got it, 999,999 people died. The only 'groups' left were S'ans, who were people who had the disease, but lived. Scavengers, who took anything and everything from anyone and everyone. Then Sweepers, who were government officials who used to kill anyone with the disease, but now were going for survivors as well. You had built a sturdy 'house' with and you had a bag with a sleeping bag, journal, lamp, pans, and not much food. You went out to scavenge, when a pack of dogs chased you, and it started pouring rain. You hid behind a big tree until the dogs picked up on your scent and ran at you, suddenly from above, in the tree, someone reaches out their hand. "Hey, come on. Before you're dog food." It sounds like a boy. You quickly grab his hand and he lifts you up onto the branch, out of reach from the dogs. You see he has blonde hair, and a red sweatshirt, but you have too much adrenaline to notice much else. "Aidan." He says, smirking.
