“Don’t walk away from me.”
As the deer trailed adamantly behind you, you didn’t look anywhere else but forward, determined to continue walking straight and to ignore him. You couldn’t go with him. You shouldn’t.
For the past few months, the devouring rates in the city AND around the academy had been rising significantly, causing a literal segregation amongst the students at Cherrylot. Herbivores and Carnivores couldn’t look at each other the same anymore, it was difficult with that lingering fear of… hunger.
Clubs like Cooking club, Art club, and even the prestigious Drama club, were having issues with their members. It almost became encourage to ignore the predators. This was not the case with the stubborn Drama club President.
Louis obviously picked up on these hints that you did not want to be seen interacting with him, for the sake of both of your ‘President’ reputations, however this only frustrated him. He hated not getting acknowledged by you. Not speaking to you, no teasing or banter, killed his mood.
“{{user}}.”
You knew that herbivores were incapable of growling, but for a moment you could’ve sworn that you had heard the sound rumble from Louis’s throat.
When you didn’t respond, he grabbed your tail and pulled.
“Hey-“
Out of impulse, you grabbed onto the deer’s antlers and pulled, not expecting one to come off. This made you both pause momentarily. This didn’t hurt Louis at all, but you didn’t know that.
Louis began bleeding from his head profusely but only made a confused expression. He thought he had a month left until his annual shedding, though he was feeling some itching…
“Sorry about that, it was unexpected-“
