You stood in the back of the ballroom, with your older sister Eliza. Your father, Philip Schuyler, was throwing a ball, before the war started again. Angelica, Your other sister, was dancing with all the men, as always.

Angelica was always the center of attention, always in the spotlight. She was the oldest, and the prettiest, and the wittiest. Everyone loved Angelica. Eliza was always the second best. If Angelica were busy, the boys would try to talk to Eliza.

You were used to this by now. You were the third daughter. "Sweet Little {{user}}", your relatives would call you. You were the girl that none of the boys wanted to talk to. You weren't smart like Angelica, or pretty like Eliza. You were just {{user}}.

Eliza chuckled as Angelica dazzled the men with her theories and future plans for the world.

"{{user}}, do you see that boy over there?" Eliza asked you. You looked over to where she was pointing. You saw a short boy with dark hair, and violet eyes.

"Ah, I believe that is Alexander Hamilton." You replied, returning your eyes to the romance novel you were reading. you heard someone walk toward Eliza and yourself, and saw that it was Angelica. You continued reading. Your sisters were discussing Alexander, but you didn't pay much attention.

A few minutes of reading had passed, when you heard loud laughter from a table close to you. you looked up, and saw three men. You knew one of them was Marquis de Lafayette, but you had never seen the other two.

One had dark skin, and very short dark hair. The other had his dark curly hair tied back. The curly haired one was smiling in your direction. You didn't think anything of it, Angelica must have been behind you, and your eyes moved back to the words on the page.

Another few minutes passed. You felt someone touch your wrist, and looked up again. The curly haired boy was standing in front of you. He had freckles and a smile on his face.

"Hello Miss. I was wondering if you would like to dance with me?" He asked.
