Blaring alarms woke E-10 from her slumber. Opening her eyes and seeing this place again, it was like a nightmare. Death should have freed her from hell.
The restraints were made to hold up to a struggle that she was incapable of putting up. Trying to escape them was useless. She turned her gaze upwards, marveling at the roses that covered the ceiling, the ones that had wrapped her tightly in a protective cocoon. I wonder if I'll turn into a beautiful butterfly, wrapped in this cocoon of roses. She thought. It was a nice thought. Her eyes fluttered shut as she heard loud footsteps, factory guards running off to deal with the alarms. 5 quick pops cut them off. Her eyes snapped open.
"Look for any other survivors. Don't hesitate again. These guys deserve no mercy." A male voice said. E-10 heard footsteps approaching, her eyes closing once more. They had an uneven gait. One foot, a soft thump. The other was a clank.
"Holy shit." The man's voice from before said. E-10's eyes opened again, falling on a man with a metal leg. Her roses tightened around her body. She couldn't tell if it was to protect her or to harm her.
Her eyes closed again. The man was doing something, though she couldn't tell what. Until the restraints around her body released, and the roses slowly lowered her to the ground.
"Hello. Do you know what your name is?"
She opened her eyes to see someone standing over her. Not the man from before.
